Text description provided by the architects. Casa Verde Gago is located in the historic centre of Ansião and is the result of the renovation of an old building. This project has a contemporary feel that respects the memory of its historical context. At the same time, it is capable of reflecting an innovative approach, preserving the essence of the site, while establishing a dialogue between the past and the present, without compromising the historical identity reflected in the choices made during the design and construction phase.
